The ancient town of
Banbury in Oxfordshire hosts a street charter fair in October.
This has been a tradition for around 400 years, first starting as
a hiring or mop fair.
Willie Wilson presents his rides
including the Booster, Chaos, Dodgems and Waltzer. All of thee
attractions and more are seen at the pull-on. This is then
followed by the fair in action. Other showmen presenting rides
included Joey Noyce's Jump and Smile, Warren James' Matterhorn,
Thomas Jones' Orbiter and Twist, Perrin Matthews' Stargate, plus
many more.
The DVD features a hi-fi stereo soundtrack
with no commentary.
