Both traditional and
modern rides stand side by side at the Great Dorset Steam Fair.
The latest thrill rides, such as Garry Evans' Bomber, Elliot
Hall's Top Buzz 2 and Darren Matthews' Megaspin, are in contrast
to the traditional rides of Joe Rowland's Noah's Ark, David Downs'
Gallopers and Harris Brothers' Chairoplanes.
All the major rides are featured
on the Saturday night of the rally, which has an atmosphere unlike
any other. This is complemented by views of some of the many
showmen's engines that once were used to power the rides on the
fairground.
The DVD/video features a hi-fi
stereo soundtrack with no commentary.
