Both traditional and
modern rides stand side-by-side at the Great Dorset Steam Fair. The
latest thrill rides such as Garry Evans' Afterburner, Bernard
Matthews' King Loops and Shaw Wallis' Drop Tower are in contrast to
older rides of Joe Rowland's Noah's Ark, Parker & Taylor's
Brooklands Speedway and Saunders' Steam Yachts.
The major rides are featured in action
by day and night, together with views of some of the many showmen's
engines, fair organs and old fairground transport now in
preservation.
Also featured are inside views of Ken
Fox's Wall of Death, the only show of its kind still travelling.
