The superb transport of the West Country
firm of Anderton & Rowland is seen arriving for the annual Paignton Regatta Fair, on a
hot summer's afternoon. No sooner than the rides are positioned on Paignton Green, then
the build up of attractions begins to take place.This
is followed by a view of the major rides in action, patronised by a large crowd of locals
and holidaymakers.
The traditional Big Wheel and Grand 98-key Marenghi organ
stand side-by-side creating an electric atmosphere, in contrast to the latest thrill rides
presented by members of the De Vey family and other showmen at this colourful fair.
The DVD features a hi-fi
stereo soundtrack with no commentary.
