Held on the Northampton Road
Recreation Ground in Kettering. For the very first time a
1960s-style fairground was organised and held by independent
showlady Ann Perrett and Showman Ian Taylor.
Starting with the pull-on of
transport, this is followed by all the rides and attractions in full
swing. Including Jimmy Bowery's Skid, John Morley's Chair-o-Planes,
Ann Perrett's Cakewalk and Giant Octopus, Ted Taylor's 'Disco Rider'
Ark and Supercar Dodgems. Plus Andy and Ann Robertson's Swinging
Gyms, Robert Malyon's Helter Skelter and side stalls.
Also featured are build up scenes of Geoff Woodford's unique Mojo
ride, the only one of its kind travelling in the country. |
