Which format should I buy?

I live in the UK/Europe: Many modern video recorders can play both PAL and NTSC formats. If your video recorder can play both formats, then you should choose the NTSC format as the video was originally made in that format and the picture quality is therefore superior. If your video recorder can only play PAL tapes, or you are unsure which format of tape it can play, then you should buy the PAL version. The PAL version has been transferred from NTSC so that it can be viewed on all UK/European VHS video recorders. If in doubt, please consult your video recorder instruction manual.

I live in the USA/Canada: You should select the NTSC version.
