The roller coaster is the biggest
carnival attraction that can be found at the larger fairs in the
Netherlands. This book is the first publication in which the history
of the rollercoaster on the Dutch fairground has been told. From the
wooden 'figure eight' to the steel Wild Mouse coasters, the
different variants such as the Flitzer, the Alpine Express and the
Catapult are covered. The booklet also looks at the largest portable
roller coaster and at developments in the Dutch amusement parks.
