BITSoftheBEACH: Impossible

The 'exploratorium' (that was opened in April 2002 by TV's Fred Dineage from "How 2")  is basically an amalgamation of The Haunted Swing and 1001 Troubles which adds up to a fun filled and puzzling walk through/experience.

A sign next to the attraction states that Impossible was a BLAC (Blackpool Leisure and Consultancy Ltd) project that was conceived by Geoffrey Thompson, managed by David Mercer and designed by Steve Hallam.

Anyone familiar with the work of Gaudi, the architect whose work is synonymous with Barcelona (and whose 150th birthday was celebrated in 2002) will recognise the style of the outside design.

Inside, the attraction does manage to retain its 'olde worlde charm' and the management should be congratulated for what could easily have turned into a travesty of an attraction.
