Belle Vue, Manchester, may not exist today
except in the use of the name for a Bingo Centre and a Greyhound come Speedway Stadium,
but it does remain strongly in the memory of many people. For the millions who passed
through its turnstiles, a visit to Belle Vue meant the sheer pleasure of entering a
different world.This DVD is the second in the
series chronicling the history of the Belle Vue zoo and amusement park, and brings
together more footage and memories of what has been described as 'the world's first theme
park'.
